My trailing petunias
Recently, I visited my local favorite garden center to finish purchasing annuals for planting for the summer. The lovely gentleman who helped me put my plants in the trunk commented, ” So you are adding a little color to your life .” I loved what he said. We Southern women thrive on the addition of color in our lives.
When I was ready to pick out my annuals for Southern color in my garden, I consulted my landscape designer son-in-law Richard for his advice on purchase and placement in my planters. His own look amazing. Summer in the South is about color and I purchased Lantana, Creeping Jenny, New Guinea Impatiens, and miniature double petunias.

Speaking of adding color to my life, I tried a new nail product and color. SNS is a healthy, natural nail system that serves as a great alternative to acrylic and gel nails. The color below is number 21 in their system and it’s perfect for wearing with my summer wardrobe. I get my nails done every two weeks and have not lost a nail or had any chipping since I started this process.

It has been said, “Life is art. Live yours in color.”
